A diverse array of perspectives that have found each other in a shared attitude: we believe that furniture with its own story and emotional substance is simply something different.

János is a creative mind who loves developing ideas and driving projects forward. At label raum he is responsible for marketing and branding. He is also your go-to contact for any questions about our furniture.
David
David is in charge of coordination at label raum. He makes sure everything runs smoothly and keeps the team organized. You'll usually find him in our studio.
Clemens
The creator behind label raum's furniture pieces. Designing and crafting furniture is his passion. You will find him in the workshop.
Niklas
As a self-proclaimed problem solver, Niklas is responsible for everything that needs to work behind the scenes so that you can reach us and we can reach you. From internal IT to our website and the responsible handling of data.
What drives us
We, as the team behind label raum, live openness and honesty. Outwardly and inwardly. We value transparency and clear communication so our customers know where they stand. And within the team we cultivate an open culture where everyone is heard and everyone can contribute. This allows all the disciplines and perspectives that come together in our team to shine through. At label raum we stand behind what we do. In doing so, we place particular importance on three things:
High-quality craftsmanship. Our furniture is created through precise handcraft. We work with dedication and passion and stand behind the result. We use the respective finest materials, which make sense through their origin, processing and longevity. Responsibility for quality means mindfulness throughout the entire process.
Conscious design. This mindfulness begins with design as the foundation of everything. Our furniture did not come into being because another product was needed. It came into being because we wanted it in our own lives. As a gift, as new living room furniture or for our studio. We design each piece so that we ourselves are excited about it and happy to use it. In doing so, we understand design as an attitude. Every detail is consciously considered with a deep understanding of form and function. For us this means giving furniture its own character and its own emotions. Something living with its own story.
Partnerships at eye level. Our responsibility does not end with the furniture itself, but includes respectful engagement with resources, people and ideas. Especially in our social interactions. We work as much as possible with regional partners who share our values and can rely on us. Whether creative partners or suppliers of materials. With some of them we have maintained partnerships in our team that existed long before label raum. That makes us all the more proud to continue working with such outstanding partners.
Why actually “label raum”? A space is more than just a place. It is created from form, light, material, line, resonance and perception, but also from feeling, mood and thought. There is the outer space we can see and touch, and the inner space we feel within ourselves. Our furniture connects these two levels. It creates places where one can feel free, inspired and at ease. In this way furniture creates a space, and from space a feeling for life emerges.
When we develop furniture, function always plays a decisive role. We understand function not only in the classical sense, but also in terms of emotional and social function. What should furniture achieve in our everyday lives, what kinds of spaces should it create? Space for possibilities? Space for the future? Or a space full of security?
Our approach is a conscious engagement with the question of what life means today. Our furniture does not respond to trends, but to needs for clarity, freedom, joy and meaning. Our design aims to achieve more than generating new forms. We want to tell stories.
A piece of furniture is functional for us only when it is part of a life concept, gives us space and thereby creates a feeling for life. Furniture creates resonant spaces for life, which is constantly changing. We need these spaces so that we can dream, relax and be fully ourselves.
